The Baltimore Association of Black Journalists dedicated its November meeting to career transitions.

Bowie State University Public Relations Lecturer Talisha Dunn-Square,  Maryland State Highway Administration, Assistant Media Relations Manager Shanteé Felix and Aviation Queen LLC Owner/Editor-In-Chief Benét J. Wilson lead the discussion on career pivots. The session took place Nov. 18 at WYPR Radio located at 2216 North Charles Street.

More than 15 BABJ members showed up for the frank discussion on careers that may take journalists outside the newsroom. Dunn-Square, Felix and Wilson shared their stories and offered questions individuals should ask themselves before they make the leap to leave the newsroom.
