The Baltimore Association of Black Journalists hosted its April 2019 meeting at Maryland Public Television in Owings Mills.

About 20 people attended the #BABJLinkedIn Saturday afternoon workshop “LinkedIn: For Journalists with Intero Advisory’s Colleen McKenna.”

The esteemed LinkedIn Trainer is a BABJ favorite! McKenna encouraged attendees to view LinkedIn more as a business tool, than a social media network. She demonstrated ways to survey your LinkedIn account and tailor it to your professional brand and business needs. McKenna offered multiple methods to assist journalists and public relations professionals in networking, sourcing stories and building digital campaigns using LinkedIn
