The Baltimore Association of Black Journalists hosted our April 2015 meeting at Stratford University.
About 20 people attended the #BABJLinkedIn April 22nd Wednesday night workshop “LinkedIn: What’s New? And, What’s Important” with Intero Advisory’s Colleen McKenna. The LinkedIn Trainer covered the basics and pointed out key methods journalists and public relations professionals can use the website for work. McKenna covered advanced searches, reading analytical data, key word use, profile settings and posting blog content directly to LinkedIn.
The #BABJLinkedIn cherry on top was served up by Stratford University’s Baltimore culinary management program staff and students, led by Chef Eric Yeager. The program treated attendees to a full buffet dinner which included:
