Shawn Madden, former sports anchor for WJZ-TV (Channel 13) passed away Aug. 1. He collapsed at a gym he owned in Shrewsbury, Pa. and later died at York Hospital. He was 45.
The Seattle native was a body builder and certified personal trainer. He owned two Gold’s Gym locations in Shrewsbury and Eldersburg, Md.
He is survived by his wife Heather and their two children.
Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday 11 a.m. at Grace Fellowship Church, 74 E. Forrest Ave. in Shrewsbury.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for memorial contributions to be made to the American Heart Association.
